Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated May 14, 2026

Slipstream exists to give people fast, reliable access to the open internet. We don't dictate what you can or can't browse. But we won't host the following.

What's off-limits

Using Slipstream to commit crimes against other people. This means: fraud, identity theft, stalking, harassment, distribution of child sexual abuse material, or non-consensual intimate imagery.

Using Slipstream to attack other systems. This means: launching denial-of-service attacks, port scanning at scale, distributing malware, or attempting to break into systems you don't have permission to access.

Using Slipstream to send unsolicited bulk email or commercial spam.

Using Slipstream to violate the intellectual property rights of others through commercial-scale piracy or counterfeit distribution.

What's allowed

Pretty much everything else. Personal browsing, streaming, gaming, work, research, journalism, accessing services that aren't available in your region, protecting your traffic on public Wi-Fi. Slipstream is a general-purpose VPN.

How we enforce this

We don't log your traffic, so we can't proactively police what you do. If we receive a credible report of a violation, we may investigate based on the metadata we do have (subscription status, account email). If the violation is clear, we may suspend or terminate the account.

We don't take enforcement action based on what someone is browsing. We take action when there's a clear harm to other people.
